Stability in Public/Private Partnerships

When working with Neighbors Together around source of income discrimination, one thing that struck me was how widespread the LINC voucher was being denied.

After many conversations from people who had several jobs, still couldn't use their vouchers, and felt abandoned by their case managers didn't I heard a common historical note.

A different vouchers system was being used in a previous administration but it was abandoned without plan upon one administration transition. As a result, the trust between landlords and gov was shattered as tenants couldn't make rent and were being evicted.

It was a lesson that public private partnerships with public assistance need stability to ensure wellness of everyone in a process but how shattered trust lingers in industry long after the damage was done
